Professor Carlsen is himself a Professor of Sustainable Tourism at the Curtin Sustainable Tourism Centre in Australia and the author of the book “Island Tourism, Sustainable Perspectives,” which forms part of the Ecotourism Series No. 8 Book.

Professor Carlsen paid a call on Minister Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture, to be updated by the Minister of the Seychelles vision in the field of sustainable tourism. “We are honored that Professor Jack Carlsen from Curtin University will be including Seychelles and its conversation policy towards a sustainable tourism development in his next work he is working on publishing,” Minister St.Ange said.

Present at the meeting between Professor Jack Carlsen and Minister Alain St.Ange were Ralph Hissen and Philomena Holanda of the island’s Tourism Board.
